The Game Awards is one of the biggest events in the video game industry, and each year it offers us a glimpse at some of the biggest titles that will be coming out in the months ahead. One of the night’s biggest highlights came in the form of brand-new trailers for some of the most exciting games coming out in 2022 and beyond. So, these are the 10 best PC Games from the Game Awards 2021.

The Game Awards is one of the biggest nights in the video game industry and for a good reason. Over the years, we’ve seen big reveals, exciting trailers, and tons of awards. This year was no different. The Game Awards 2021 was full of exciting new game announcements, and I’m excited to share some of the biggest with you. I have listed out the 10 best PC games from the Games Awards 2021 that will come out in 2022 and beyond.
Nightingale
Nightingale is a shared open-world survival crafting game. Set in an all-new fantasy universe. Players will venture through these portals across many beautiful and increasingly dangerous worlds while trying to survive. The trailer opens up with this cinematic shot of some creepy-looking enemies.
The design of the game is pretty unsettling. There’s a bit of narrative from this Fae-looking creature and then followed by that is a ton of what looks to be in-engine gameplay footage. We see players walking around and through various swamp regions, forest areas, deserts, and mountains.
As listed on the official website, the game features include exploring the realms traverse for boating forest harrowing swamps and shimmering deserts as we restore the portals leading deeper into the lands of Fae. Building and crafting as we construct estates, farms, and communities to live off the land.
We’ll also be crafting tools, gear, and weapons to survive. You can play alone or unite with other players, but not just group up in parties. You will encounter other people and just run into them as you’re playing the game and going into these various biomes. The game will release in 2022.
ARC Raiders
Arc Raiders is a cooperative free-to-play third-person shooter game. Where you and a squad of raiders unite to resist the onslaught of Ark., A ruthless mechanized threat is descending from space. This is a third-person shooter where we fight these interstellar robots and it looks absolutely amazing.
The game is being built on Unreal Engine. Some of the features here are according to the official documents. They say that we play as raiders, this group of resistance fighters, with the help of an early warning detection system where we’re trying to protect our home from these enemies dropping from orbit.
Who requires more than simply pointing and shooting a gun and more than one person trying to be a hero? To quote here, they say, “when arc is around lone wolves, never make it very far.” The game will be released in 2022 on PC through Epic and Steam and Nvidia’s GeForce Now, PlayStation, and Xbox consoles.
Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2
the next game on our list is Warhammer 40k Space Marine 2. This is a new third-person action title from the classic cult franchise, which recently did celebrate the 10th anniversary of the original game. I cannot believe it’s been ten years since I played Warhammer.
Space Marine 2 is the next installment for Titus’s famed captain and humanity’s ultimate protectors. The galaxy is again in peril because the entire world is falling and the Imperium needs you. We will play as Captain Titus, the greatest of the emperor’s warriors able to unleash deadly abilities with an arsenal of devastating weaponry to obliterate the relentless Tyranid hordes.
Currently, there is no scheduled release date, but I hope for 2022. That’s probably unlikely because if it were happening, then they would have said 2022.
Rumbleverse
Rumbleverse is a free-to-play 40-person melee BR. It’s a fighting BR hybrid game. Essentially on the website, the brief description hints at what the game’s flow will be. They say we can create these unique champions to get shot out of a cannon smash crate to find upgrades and pick a fight battling to be the last.
Now we got a cinematic trailer first, but then they released a gameplay trailer, which told us quite a bit about the game. We see the players dropping out from the sky, dropping down onto the map for starters. We see that you can climb terrain be at the sides of buildings or any other structures.
Also, you can bounce off of vehicles like launch pads combat in the game appears to include knock-ups and grappling. They’re going to have early access beta on February 8th.
Forspoken
Forspoken is a third-person action-adventure game. We play Frey Holland, who is mysteriously transported from New York City and finds herself trapped in a fantasy world and land called Athia. As we search for her way home, we’ll have to use her newfound magical abilities to traverse sprawling landscapes and monstrous battle creatures.
The game seems to have this big focus on movement at high speed. In a few areas, we see the main character dashing and rolling over this rock formation.
Also, quickly zipping through a plaza and surfing on this ice board. It’s all very fluid-looking and fast-paced, which looks really good. In terms of combat, it appears to focus on casting spells. The game is going to be launching on May 24th, 2022.
Tchia
Tchia is a tropical open-world adventure game. The game was revealed a couple of months ago at the PlayStation showcase. The game’s description says you can climb, glide, swim, and sail with your boat around a beautiful archipelago in a physics-driven sandbox world. You’ll use Tchia’s soul-jumping ability to take control of any animal or object.
In the new trailer, we see that soul jumping into objects. First, she takes control of a bird and then flies around a bit before changing back and engaging with an enemy. It’s coming to PlayStation and PC via the Epic Game Store. There is no specific announcement or release date.
Have A Nice Death
Next up is the first and only 2D game on our list. This is called Have A Nice Death. It is a hand-drawn 2D action game. Where you play as Death, the founder and CEO of death incorporated. His top executives, the Sorrows, have been running rampant on earth, ignoring company protocols.
So now, to regain control of the company, we have to traverse through the various departments of death incorporated and remind the unruly subordinates whose is the boss. Over on the Steam site, we got some information. They say we’ll be exploring these procedurally generated departments within Death Inc.
A fast-paced hack and slash combat with over 30 unique weapons and spells, and you’ll find and be able to upgrade. Have A Nice Death will be entering Steam’s early access in march 2022.
Dune Spice Wars
Next on our list, we have Dune Spice Wars. A real-time strategy with 4x elements. Set in the Dune universe from the critically acclaimed north guard developers. The trailer itself was entirely cinematic and we saw no gameplay.
However, over on the Steam page, there were some screenshots that did give us a closer look at what the game will actually look like. The game looks interesting, and for now, all we have is some screenshots and a cinematic trailer.
We still haven’t seen any gameplay, but those screenshots did give us a look. Dune Spice Wars is coming into Steam early access at some point in 2022.
Sonic Frontiers
Moving on is a title I can’t believe is on a list, but it is Sonic Frontiers. They say here in the blurb that you will experience like never before. We will battle powerful enemies as we speed through the Starfall Islands landscapes brimming with dense forest overflowing waterfalls, sizzling deserts, and more.
Beyond that, we get very few details about the game. After a cinematic shot, they showed what looks to be in-game footage. It seems like in-engine footage. We got a couple of panoramic shots of these large environmental set pieces that are designed for Sonic’s high-speed traversal. Sonic Frontiers is arriving on holiday in 2022.
Evil West
Evil West is a dark fantasy third-person action game. We play as one of the last agents in a top-secret vampire-hunting institute. It is the final line between humanity and a deep-rooted terror. We are tasked with eradicating a vampire threat to save the United States.
They say the game features visceral explosive combat. We’ll use firearms, a lightning fuel gauntlet, and gadgets to kill bloodthirsty monsters. We can play solo or co-op with a friend. We’ll explore and fight in a narrative-driven campaign while upgrading our weapons, hunting tools, unlocking perks, and crafting our playstyle. Evil West will be released in 2022 on the Xbox and PC.
