10. Alice And Therese’s Illusion Factory
I’m super thrilled as a fan of romance anime to witness something fresh and unique in this genre. It’s like, in this totally amazing world, time is frozen and everyone has to obey this rule or else it’ll mess up time itself.
Now, there’s this super normal high school guy named Masamune, right? He stumbles upon a girl who’s like a fierce wolf, and their encounter might just determine the destiny of the whole world! So, why is this so cool?
First, it’s made by MAPPA, which means it’ll have stunning art and animation. Second, it’s not just your typical romance, but it’s got this awesome blend of sci-fi, making it even more special. And third, guess what? It’s a movie!
You can simply chill on your couch, get a big bowl of popcorn, pretend you have a girlfriend beside you, and finish the whole movie in one day. I’m super pumped for this one, so let’s wait and see how it turns out!

09. The Dreaming Boy Is A Realist
No anime season can be complete without a romantic comedy where two teenagers struggle to express their feelings for each other. I know it’s been done a lot, but this time the real charm lies in the characters themselves.
We’ve got this boy who dreams about a girl he likes and keeps confessing his feelings, but sadly, he always gets rejected. And then we have this girl who also dreams, but she starts worrying when the boy stops confessing to her. This anime is like the perfect remedy to balance out the romantic comedy vibes of the season.
It’s a delightful slice-of-life romance anime that follows the usual tropes, but the best part is, it’s super funny and will make you laugh. I’ve actually read a few chapters of the manga, and let me tell you, it holds a lot of promise. So, I’ll definitely be keeping a close eye on this one.

So, there’s this anime called Temple, and you might think it’s all sacred and stuff, but guess what? It’s actually your classic anime that’s gonna take you on a wild ride. It’s like taking a nice, hot bath in hell and then coming back up again.
The main character in this story decides to become a monk just to avoid the girl he likes. I know, right? It sounds pretty simple. He spots this gorgeous girl on the streets, starts catching feelings for her, and then decides to enter a temple to purify those emotions. But deep down, we all know what he’s gonna find there.
Now, it’s not gonna blow your mind or anything, but it’s gonna be your good old harem slice-of-life, ecchi comedy, drama, romance anime that’s a mix of different genres.
It may not feel super fresh, but trust me, it’ll still keep you hooked till the very end. So, go ahead and watch Temple, or if you want, you can always visit a real temple to stop watching Temple.

07. Masamune-kun’s Revenge R
Do you remember that chubby kid who got rejected? You know, the one who later sought revenge on the girl who turned him down? It feels like ages ago, doesn’t it? And you know what’s even more surprising
There hasn’t been any news about a new season for such a long time! But guess what, my fellow anime enthusiasts in their 80s? Our beloved revenge romance anime is finally getting a second season! The light novel it’s based on has already concluded, so we’re not sure if this season will wrap things up or if it will gain enough popularity for a third season.
Regardless, if you’re a fan of this show, I suggest rewatching the first season because I’m sure you’ve forgotten most of what happened. Don’t worry, though. It’s been ages since the first season premiered, after all.

06. Liar Liar
Is the guy’s pants really on fire? I highly doubt it. However, his hands are on fire because he easily outshines the academy’s highest-scoring student in a game. Let me explain from the beginning.
We find ourselves in an academy where students engage in battles to earn stars and achieve the prestigious title of Seven Stars. Our MC Hiroto, manages to defeat the academy’s reigning champion through pure luck. But to maintain his position, he must rely on bluffs and clever tactics.
Are you a fan of strategic mind games? Do you adore cunning main characters? How about a maid? If any of this piques your interest, then you should definitely join the Liar Liar fandom. This anime will have it all. Remember, it’s releasing on July 8th, so mark your calendars and get ready!
|Japanese Name||Liar Liar|
05. The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses
I’m not sure whether to love or hate this anime, but I find it quite innovative. We’ll have to wait and see if the romance version of Ex-Arm lives up to our expectations, and I genuinely hope it does.
The whole concept revolves around a girl who has a terrible memory and frequently forgets her glasses, as the title suggests. The protagonist has a crush on her and assists her. That’s the entire plot of the show, really. It centers around one guy trying to date a girl with memory issues.
Based on the trailer, the story appears to be lighthearted and comedic, with a dash of sweet romance. However, I do have concerns about the animation, which seems to blend 2D and 3D elements. I worry about how it will turn out visually. But since the story follows tropes that I like, I’ll keep an eye out for this one.

04. The Duke of Death and His Maid Season 2
Do you remember the tale of the cursed young Duke? Well, let me refresh your memory. It’s a show created by the talented staff at J.C.’s studios, and the animation was absolutely fantastic. The story revolves around a Duke and his love for a maid, creating a captivating and romantic journey.
This Duke, by the way, has a peculiar condition where anything he touches dies. The second season is just around the corner, and unlike the first season, which had some CGI problems, but this one appears more refined. Alongside the continuation of the story, new characters will be introduced as well.
I understand that it may not seem like your typical high school anime, but I urge you to give it a chance. Trust me, you won’t be able to resist its charm.

03. Tonikawa: High School Days
Guess what? Truck-kun finally gave man a wife and here’s the exciting news: we’re getting a new season that revolves around this man and his wife. However, I must warn you not to get your hopes up too high, as it will only be a short four-episode series. Can you believe it? Season two is already here, and on top of that, we’re getting a special set of sequels. What more could a Tonikawa fan ask for?
This time, the story takes place in a high school setting. Nasa, our protagonist, has transferred as a teacher to an all-girls high school, which worries his wife. She’s concerned about him being surrounded by a bunch of girls.
But fear not! The upcoming season will flawlessly execute the Tonikawa formula, bringing you another season filled with heartwarming moments and love.
|Japanese Name||Tonikaku Kawaii Joshi Kō-hen|
02. Rent a Girlfriend Season 3
Rent a Girlfriend is making a comeback! The manga isn’t ending anytime soon, which is great because our main character needs a lot of growth. Can season 3 provide that growth? We’ll find out soon.
The animation is as good as always, and all the girls are back. Kazuya is still struggling with his eternal question of how to win the girl’s heart. That’s basically what you can expect from Rent a Girlfriend. The new poster introduces a new girl, so we might see some fresh faces in the anime.
I haven’t read the original material, so I can’t judge the new season, but I’m excited to watch it. As I mentioned earlier, even though there are other girls involved, you can already sense who will end up winning the game, assuming the game ever ends.
|Japanese Name||Kanojo, Okarishimasu 3rd Season|
01. Horimiya: The Missing Pieces
The most exciting romance anime, especially for me, is the upcoming season of Horimiya. It’s not exactly a second season, but rather focuses on the side stories of the characters. But don’t be sad, because we’ll get to see our beloved characters again. That’s still better than having no new season at all.
In case you haven’t watched Horimiya, it’s a sweet love story about two teenagers named Kyouko Hori and Izumi Miyamura. At school, they appear to be complete opposites, with Kyouko being cheerful and outgoing, while Izumi is a quiet nerd.
However, when their true selves are revealed, they are forced to keep it a secret from others and that’s when their love story begins. If you enjoyed the first season, you’re definitely going to love these side stories. Make sure to catch the new season and dive back into the world of Horimiya.
|Japanese Name||Horimiya: Piece|
