Just like every other story that belongs to this category, now Beelzebub should adapt to human society by acting like an actual human and not like an estranged devil. Just because this has devils in it that doesn’t mean this story isn’t wholesome.
To be honest, this is way more wholesome than a lot of other anime I mentioned on this list and our guy soon falls for this miss Beelzebub. But can a normal human date a wholesome and cute devil? Watch the anime and find out.

This is one of the stories where the guy looks like he’s a mature high schooler, but it turns out this guy is even younger than the girl who doesn’t look like a mature high schooler. I don’t know what the guy who did the character design of this anime was smoking but clearly this guy cannot pass as a fifth-grader. What the hell, Japan?
Here we have a super-rich girl who just wants to experience a normal life like a normal person but her parents don’t want that and she’s tired of it, so she decides to leave them and find her own path in life. We all know how that goes. Soon she befriends this guy called Kanade and sees he’s the only guy who treats her like a normal person but there’s a catch.
Even though this guy looks like a fully functional teenager, he’s actually a fifth grader. Can love blossom between these two, of course? Otherwise, I wouldn’t be including this anime on the list, you genius.

10. Yu-No: A Girl Who Chants Love At The Bound Of This World
This anime is based on a visual novel and you know what that means, multiple girls with multiple routes and one anime trying to combine several routes into one. Here we have a set of girls and one of them is the older lady. Oh wait, two of them are older ladies because apparently, this guy has some magnet inside him or something.
This time we have parallel worlds. I know the good old spider verse stuff, but do we find a new spider-man here? Nope. It turns out our main character’s father is a historian and as soon as he found out about this he had disappeared.
Now, it’s up to our guy and his bunch of friends to find out what the hell is happening around them and along the way, he finds one alien who’s disguised as a teacher, another teacher who makes a plan with another teacher, and a couple of girls who are getting added to his gauntlet, I mean harem.

Did you know there is a planet called Catian. Apparently, that planet is full of cats and don’t ask me who thought of this premise. This is an anime and that question became illegal ever since the new generation of anime started popping out crazy titles. Here we have a guy named Kio who finds a cat in his bed.
The next day the cat becomes a girl. Not just a normal girl, a catgirl. Her name is Eris and she’s from the planet Catian. Now, all they have to do is to live together and let her collect all the data she wants, right? Nope.
As it turns out, some people want to capture Eris and she is currently hiding. So, if you want a romance between a normal guy and an older cat lady who is from outer space, this is the anime for you.

08. Why the hell are you here, Teacher!?
When you hear the word sensei you know, oh no, here we go again why the hell are you here teacher can be translated into why the hell am I always near my teacher when something bad happens. Unlike other shows, this actually has four main characters, which means four main love interests.
Each of these stories is organized in two shorts and one episode may have two or three shorts depending on its duration. Just remember that these guys are the official guys of bad luck. When they’re around, newton’s laws of physics fly out the window but come on, at least the shows are wholesome.
It makes no sense but it’s wholesome and that’s the trend with most anime these days. But beware of the uncensored ecchi scene. You have been warned.

This is like the unpopular version of Mother of Goddess Dormitory. Here we meet Shiina Aki, a guy constantly treated like a girl due to his feminine looks. That’s anime pulling the good old; that’s a boy even though he looks like a girl trope again.
This guy moves to Tokyo to attend school, where he meets Sunohara Ayaka, the caretaker of his new home. As I said, this has a similar premise to Mother of Goddess Dormitory, where the poor innocent guy gets dragged into a dormitory full of weirdos.
This is also one of those seasonal guilty pleasures shows that you should watch for enjoyment, not for a serious story, and damn, the music’s really good. If you ignore the whole shota tag, then this one you can definitely give the enjoyment you need.

06. Kanokon
Normally anime main characters keep attracting girls but this guy keeps attracting animal spirits who look like anime girls. There isn’t much of a difference but don’t go expecting some Fruits Basket vibes with this show.
The two anime girls here are a fox spirit named Chizuru and a wolf spirit named Nozomu. With two girls by his side at all times, will our main character be able to survive school? Of course not.
Similar to The Caretaker of Sunohara Hall, this is one of those less serious shows with tons of comedy. It’s even got that good old transfer student trope that kicks off a crazy love triangle.
The good thing about this show is how it shows how to play the comedy really well and make sure it doesn’t fall into the old cliches. Keep your eye out for the white-haired girl. She’s my favorite, but you might like the black-haired one.

05. My Big Sister Arrived
This story revolves around a boy Tomoya Mizuhara who gains a big sister when his father remarries but this is one of those annoying sisters who always want the affection of their big brother. Also, her sister isn’t the only weirdo here; it turns out her sister’s friend is a sadist.
Yeah, this is one of those anime where they shove multiple characters with different personalities into one central narrative and wonder how it goes.
Once again, this is one of those funny, less serious anime that you should watch when you’re bored of some serious anime and don’t forget the sister is the best girl on this show. She is the person who carries the anime on her back, and I’m surprised how she doesn’t get tired along the way.

04. Vermeil in Gold
Vermeil in Gold isn’t as serious as some anime in this list, but it’s still pretty good. Like I’ve always said, the premise is one of the simplest ones I’ve seen.
There’s a guy called Alto who is weak as hell, but thanks to his anime main character luck, he summons a hot demon lady who only asks for mana transfers from time to time.
As Vermeil grows closer to our boy Alto, his childhood friends become more jealous. Vermeil in Gold was released this season, so I recommend this one for you to watch. It is still airing, so you still have time to binge-watch this, so go watch it right now.

03. Call of the Night
Don’t let the Twitter police fool you. I know there is an age gap going on, and that’s why this one is a perfect choice for you if you are looking for the latest released old girl young boy anime. This anime is so good that it gives you that calm chilling feeling you don’t get when watching a lot of anime.
The entire story revolves around this guy trying to become a vampire to stay awake at night to cure his amnesia, but the romance comes when he has to date a female vampire to achieve his dream. What I like about this anime is how everything is created to match a certain style.
When you watch this anime, you think, oh boy, I wish I could walk around that night with a female vampire by my side. The whole anime gives a pretty relaxed feeling, and the whole soundtrack and the art style complement it. Seriously don’t skip this anime. It’s really good.

02. The World is Still Beautiful
This is the love story between the sun and the moon. Wait, was that too cheesy? Anyways, the queen of this country can control the rain, so as long as she’s happy, the guys in the kingdom are happy, am I right? Yeah, but this short dude wants the queen as his wife, so no more rain for the kingdom.
The short guy is also from a kingdom called the Sun kingdom because the writers forgot to add a creative name for the kingdom and the prince of this kingdom wants to marry the princess of the rain kingdom so his kingdom can have rain.
From the start of the anime, you can see how these two have good old bad boy good girl chemistry. As you move forward in the story, you’ll also see why this show’s main character starts acting like a whiny brat. So, if you want a classic old girl young boy drama, watch this show.

Sensei is the best girl and if anyone denies it, you’ll be shot to death with a pistol and thrown into hell. All of us hate studying and so do these girls but luckily, they have a tutor. Yep, you already know where this is headed. Three girls are weak in several subjects and a tutor comes to the rescue. That’s right, this is all about our girls falling in love with their tutor. Oh wait, there’s more.
Did I mention that this tutor also has a tutor? It’s more like she’s the school teacher but the only thing you need to know is that sensei is the best girl on this show. The show ended with an OVA where the guy becomes Thanos and the girls become the infinity stone.
So, if you need a wholesome anime, then this is the show for you. Once again, sensei’s the best girl, don’t you dare forget that.
