Furthermore, children born after the release of the virus have special powers which allow them to fight and imprison these phantoms.
Although a lot of these phantoms are harmless but some of them are extremely powerful and insanely dangerous. A lot of these children are placed in elite clubs, schools, and organizations and then trained to improve phantom fighting abilities.

Students need to face-off and battle on their very first day just to get into the school and although most students manifest powerful blaze melee weapons such as swords and axes, Tooru manifests his blades into a shield. It’s really irregular.
With a duo system in which students are assigned partners, our hero tour is paired up with the beautiful Julie Sigtuna, a silver head girl from Scandinavia. But she is more than Toor’s assigned partner. She’s also his roommate.

A brilliant addition to the seriously lacking girls with gun genre. Aria The Scarlet Ammo combines cute girls, big guns, and awesome fight scenes in a fun little romantic comedy that impressed us at every single turn. We learn of a world that is ripped apart by insanely high crime rates, forcing the government to set up elite schools around the country and a national qualification to train students to fight crime.
These students learn and specialize in a number of different fields and we follow Kinji Tooyama as he follows the trial of a vicious serial killer that’s hunting down these elite crime-fighting students.
Aria Holmes Kanzaki is actually a direct descendant of the world-famous Sherlock Holmes himself. She was shot in the back as a child and almost killed.
The bullet is still lodged within her and stops her from growing but the rare metal the bullet was made out of gives her insane powers. It’s a fun anime that doesn’t often take itself too seriously. It’s an interesting mystery tale with some great characters that had us following closely. Itching to find out the killer and begging to see Kinji make his move on Aria.

A brilliant action series has started off as a long-running light novel series with great success as both a manga and anime series. The Asterisk War has since turned into a series of well-made video games with rumors of a film on the horizon.
We learn of a world on the brink of economic collapse as these huge mega-corporations that rose to power after this crazy event led to the destruction of most of the world and also resulted in a number of humans gaining these insane superpowers.
The series itself is set across the city of Rikka also known as Asterisk, where six academies exist and hold an epic battle performance type tournament. We follow the fifth-ranked academy that is constantly slipping in quality and a student council president that is determined to find a solution and improve the school’s overall ranking.
We meet a number of interesting and engaging characters as they try to improve the school’s overall chance of performing better in the Asterisk war tournament whilst also running an interesting and engaging side story about a missing sister and mysterious other students.

The story soon gets heavy as our hero learns the truth about this hidden world of magic and the real nature behind the strange day of the black sun that almost destroyed the world and took so many people with it.

Basara Toujou is a high schooler and one day his father gets remarried and brings home two new sisters to live without MC. Two cute stepsisters, Mio and Maria. His father soon leaves overseas and we learn that both of these new stepsisters are actually part of a demon clan.
Basara reveals that he is actually a member of the hero plan. Mio a demon princess attempts to force a master and servant contract was Basara but our hero flips the spell and forces his new stepsisters to become his servants.
With constant action from other demons chasing after Mio trying to claim the demon throne, we find our hero getting caught up in a number of really strange scenarios.

An absolutely fantastic harem anime with a pretty gritty psychological drama at its core. This anime started life as a highly successful series of visual novels before seeing a successful run as a manga series and then finally a much acclaimed and loved anime that you definitely need to check out.
Although billing itself is a romance story, we soon realized the true highlight of this series where the strong plot points and insane character arcs begin to lead us. We follow Yuuji Kazami as he transfers to the mysterious Mihama Academy, a prison-like school with only five female students.
We soon realize that our MC is more than just your average high schooler. Yuuji is actually an assassin that works for a mysterious Japanese government agency. Sick of his pointless life filled with killing, he signs up and attempts to live a relatively normal life.
The visual novel definitely gives you the opportunity to explore romance with each of these beautiful characters but the series itself definitely opts for a very strong and compelling storyline. Well-polished and an engaging watch throughout there’s definitely a lot to sink your teeth into with this anime series between the games, manga, and even a few films.
