Kotarou and his dog find a nameless ronin with a violent past that is vowed never to draw a sword again.

We start seeing an intimate and unique relationship between them as the unlikely trio overcomes impossible odds as they desperately push forward to survive. The story and plot around them really start to develop and twist into some interesting places, but when the swords come out, you know things are about to get serious.
