10. Momokuri
Keeping tabs on your girlfriend is bad, but what if we get a reverse card. Yuki finds everything about our MC to be so adorable that she can’t help but track him down and sneak some shots. She expressed her love for Momo, whether it was a serious crush or an obsession.
After all the tests and trials, when a senior girl confessed to him as a new high school student, Momo instantly agreed. He didn’t appear to have given the offer any thought; he simply accepted it. Thankfully Momo never gets uncomfortable around Yuki.
In contrast, he is funny and sweet. Yuki tries her best to make Momo happy, but the number of photos she has taken so far is no joke. Well, we called it young love, so who cares, right?

09. Homes of Kyoto
It’s an open and shut case. A rare fantastic mystery-centric rom-com that contains a Sherlockian elephant. Mashiro is a high school student who recently moved to Kyoto. One day she stumbled upon an antique shop. There she met Kiyotaka, the son of the shop owner. Solving peculiar cases from customers who gave him a title Holmes.
After meeting him, Mashiro decided to work there. Together they undertake various requests bought by the shop customer. Incapable of figuring out the puzzle. I’m a big fan of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s work. So, the entry caught my attention which did not turn out to be so disappointing.
So, if you are looking for a highly suspenseful rom-com like Hyouka, then this is something worth trying.

08. Bokura Ga Ita
Here’s the thing this show was admittedly quite popular when it aired, unlike other classic romance series. However, it barely gets any mention these days and it’s quite painful to see this forgotten masterpiece.
Nanami Takahashi and Motoharu Yano begin their relationship carefully, but soon find themselves completely involved in each other’s lives. Yano’s background includes a lover who died in an accident and a scar with his former girlfriend’s younger sister, and unfortunately, that complicates their bond.
This anime is for you if you enjoy anime that goes deep into romantic drama to the point of making you cry. However, the animation style might not be appealing to everyone.

Ojisan And Marshmallow is a cute lovely short story anime based on office romance. Honestly, there is not much to a story. It follows the daily life of Iori madly in love with her co-worker Hige, obviously that fat dude. Throughout the journey, we get to see Iori attempt to impress our MC.
Making him fall for a romantic relationship by teasing him with his obsession with marshmallows. After all, the way towards a man’s heart is through his stomach, right? Yes, that’s the only hook this show has.
Even though the story is short, it gets repetitive from time to time, and if you are looking for a unique romance anime, then you should definitely need to consider this.

On number six, we have No.6. Yes, number six is the anime name based on a sci-fi theme. After a post-apocalyptic event explaining the human life left in six cities. Some may argue it doesn’t have much romance. However, romance can blossom in any environment, including anyone irrespective of gender.
Shion and Nezumi come from vastly different worlds. He unlives a privileged life in a protected enclaved area having no idea about the horrible things that happen with people outside. Meanwhile, Nezumi is a fugitive from the outside world.
Both meet each other again and start dealing with complex political issues and strengthening their bond even stronger. The story has a good amount of potential, but the type of romance is not my cup of tea so try it at your own risk.

05. The “Hentai” Prince and The Stony Cat
Most people have something about themselves they’d like to change, but most of us don’t get the opportunity to do so. However, in anime, that change occurs by visiting a magical cat stone statue. Our MC Yota constantly thinks about his carnival fantasies, yet no one sees him as a pervert.
As a result, he learns about a cat monument that grants wishes. Later, our MC visits the location and prays for the ability to express his lusty thoughts whenever and wherever he desires freely.
Yota met Tsukiko, a girl from his high school, and around that same time, she wished about not revealing her true intentions to anyone. The main fun of the story is in their characters with not to an extreme level of fan service. However, you will find plenty of other things to enjoy.

04. Recovery of an MMO Junkie
There are many like us out there having trouble interacting with humans but can able to enjoy themselves through online mediums, obviously not in the metaverse. Morico decided to start playing the new MMO game called Fruits de Mer. As a male avatar called Hayashi, continuing the noob journey in this game, Morico finds a beautiful character named Lily who reaches to help her. Whether it’s a day, month, or year they keep playing the game.
Meanwhile, a 28-year-old co-operate worker, Yuta, decided to log into the game. Now, this begins a new journey of romance into the virtual world.

03. Josee, The Tiger and The Fish
Now, this is a romance movie that needs to be a big hit, but I find it hard because not many people are talking about it. Our MC is a college student who finds peace in diving. He dreams of going to Mexico, attending the university, and finding a fish called Clarion Angel. Soon our MC meets Josee, a young girl in a wheelchair.
Our MC has everything to complete his dream, whereas Josee was always in a wheelchair since birth, unable to do basic tasks. The only family she had left was her grandma. Her grandma decided to hire our MC, and because of good pay, our MC agreed upon it.
The two had a rough start, but the tragic part is yet to come and that will definitely melt the hearts of many.

For many, this may sound like an American dream. An underdog and see surrounded by all girls and ready to do anything for him with no strings attached. Who can reject a deal like that? Our MC Kazuki Shikimori goes to a school filled with magicians.
Basically, our MC becomes the target of three girls because he is the descendant of the powerful magician family. You see a magician who can only use his magic a few times in their lifetime. If they use it all up, MC can die. However, MC belongs to the royal bloodline.
His clan jeans are considered to be incredibly powerful. For that, girls from all over the school want to bear his child. The MC is foolishly hilarious like any other typical harem protagonist and you all get to see how an old-school harem looks.

01. Hataraki Man
While there are plenty of adult anime fans out there and this might be something they feel connected to because it portrays young adults instead of teenagers, and thus you have Hiroko and her boyfriend, Shinji. Both are certified workaholics. A couple who can’t seem to have enough time for each other due to their nature of work.
Although Hiroko is doing better in her career and worse of all, they are now concerned with jealousy because the man’s career isn’t successful. They cancel their dates and they don’t have as many intimate moments like other couples of their age and inevitably wonder why they work so hard anyway.
